End Violence Against Women Drop-in and Q&A

4th December – 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join us for a special event in association with Soroptimist International Belfast and White Ribbon NI. Volunteers will be on hand in our Performance Area to talk to you about the End Violence Against Women exhibition from 11 am to 1 pm. At 12 pm, there will be a brief talk, followed by a Q&A with Tracy Tsang from Soroptimist International and Nicola Newbury from White Ribbon NI.

No booking required.

Soroptimist International is a global volunteer movement working together to transform the lives of women and girls and has nearly 72,000 Members in 121 countries. There are 15 Clubs across the island of Ireland that work at a local, national and international level to educate, empower and enable women and girls to reach their potential.

White Ribbon is a global movement to end male violence against women. It was formed in 1991 by a group of male students in Canada in response to the brutal massacre of 14 female students. Its goal – which is the same today – is to send out the message that violence against women in all its forms is unacceptable.
