‘Peace Heroines’ is an extraordinary showcase that celebrates women who, spanning the political spectrum, tirelessly worked towards establishing peace. Join us at The Linen Hall and discover the power of nine thought-provoking portraits, skilfully crafted by renowned Northern Ireland artist FRIZ.
Through their captivating expressions, these portraits pay tribute to remarkable women such as Monica McWilliams, Baroness May Blood, Eileen Weir, Pat Hume, Bronagh Hinds, Susan McCrory, Saidie Patterson, Pearl Sagar, and Anne Carr.
These inspiring women have left an indelible impact, supporting victims of sectarian violence, advocating for integrated education, initiating cross-community projects, organising impactful peace marches, and empowering women in political and public spheres.
The Peace Heroines exhibition continues at 2 Royal Avenue, with over 30 panels exploring stories of more women of extraordinary courage.
