This year marks 90 years since the birth of renowned Belfast playwright Stewart Love, who died in 2021. Love wrote successfully for stage, television and radio, vividly capturing the working-class life of his native city.
This event, held as part of a Stewart Love retrospective with our partners Bright Umbrella, celebrates and explores Love’s work and legacy, drawing on a rich archive, and bringing together family members, as well as theatre professionals such as Trevor Gill, Artistic Director of Bright Umbrella, and actor and journalist, Ivan Little, who starred in one of Love’s plays.
