Holiday Italian
After popular demand, our Italian classes are making a comeback at The Linen Hall! Join us for a 9-week course designed for absolute beginners, guided by the experienced tutor, Giada Mangiardi. This grammar-free class offers a fun and interactive introduction to the Italian language.
Holiday Italian is a fun and interactive class suitable for Absolute Beginners, False Beginners and also all those who feel a bit rusty and would like to refresh the basics of Italian.
It’s a grammar-free class where we’ll use pair and group work, games, role plays and a variety of immersive activities to learn to speak and respond in the most common holiday situations – ordering food and drinks, buying train tickets, checking in at the hotel, going to the chemist’s, buying clothes and accessories, and many more.

About Giada Mangiardi
Hailing from the beautiful city of Turin, Giada Mangiardi is a language teacher who has a passion for languages in both the spoken form and the science behind them. After completing her MA degree in Linguistics in 2007 she moved to Co. Limerick and taught Italian in a school. After a year she moved to Belfast where she has been working as a language tutor to all ages in QUB, Belfast Metropolitan College and the Crescent Arts Centre. She has also worked as Language Coach at the Grand Opera House.
Giada has collaborated in the editing of Italian language course books as well as works dealing with minority languages. She looks forward to sharing with you her knowledge and love for Italian in all its aspects, from grammar to food, from music to regional traditions.
