Linen Hall Partners Titanic Belfast in Festival of Family and Friends

We’ve partnered with Titanic Belfast in their Festival of Family and Friends taking place from 4 – 10 November at Titanic Belfast. There will be lectures, dances, talks, story-telling, tours and ancestry research – many free of charge. Profound and Touching Stories With Voices of Recovery

Many were touched by the stories and songs performed on 10 October by the Voices of Recovery, a choir made up of people recovering from drink and drug addiction. Auction brings in £000s for the Linen Hall

After many months of planning and gathering a wide variety of items, many donated by patrons, supporters and local businesses, the Linen Hall fundraising auction took place on 16 October. The auction was bid called by Daniel Clarke from Belfast’s John Ross and Co. who kindly gifted the Library his time and expertise in raising as much from the bids as possible. Linen Hall Practises Good Mental Health with Lloyds TSB Grant

Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland recently awarded the Linen Hall £1,140 towards the Mental Health Awareness Project. Linen Hall Remembers Thomas Russell at Rosemary Street Church

As part of the Library’s 225 year celebrations, a special tribute to its second Librarian, Thomas Russell, was held at the First Presbyterian Church on Rosemary Street on 3 October.
