Linen Hall’s extraORDINARYwomen Project Call Out for Objects and Items

The Linen Hall Library’s extraORDINARYwomen project focuses on the social experience of women in Northern Ireland from 1965 – today, and will enrich the understanding of Northern Irish culture, and the role of women within it.

We will be re-examining existing collections at the Linen Hall Library and collecting new stories. However, we need your help to do this. We are looking for manuscripts, books and ephemera relating to women supporting their communities which we will preserve, digitise, and make publicly available online for future generations.

If you have some available time during this lockdown and would like to contribute to our collection please contact a.gordon@linenhall.com for more information on how to donate and share information.

We are excited to explore and share women’s contribution Northern Irish history over the coming months. Click here for more information on this project.
