Tim McGarry’s ‘The Long and the Short of It’ Live – Centenary Special

4 October, 7.00pm • Performance Area • £20

In the popular Radio Ulster programme The Long and the Short of It, historian David Hume, and comedian Tim McGarry, have spent several series learning about and then disagreeing about all aspects of Irish history. Now in this special live event Tim and David turn their attention to a very topical and controversial subject – the partition of Ireland and the birth of the Northern Ireland state. David may have more facts than Tim but you can expect Tim to bring more jokes than David…

The Ireland Divided project has been funded through the Shared History Fund, which The National Lottery Heritage Fund is distributing on behalf of the Northern Ireland Office to help groups mark the Centenary of Northern Ireland.

*Please note this event is in-house at the Linen Hall Library
