Gerry Fitzgerald joined the Belfast Telegraph in 1979, becoming the youngest picture editor of the paper in 1993. His highly acclaimed exhibition News and Views depicts life in the province during the worst years of violence and was the first major contemporary photographic exhibitions commissioned by the Ulster Museum.
