Where The Linnets Sing 2026 Launch

Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, in association with the Tunney Song Tradition Trust, are delighted to launch a new and updated edition of Where the Linnets Sing 2026: Five Generations of the Extended Tunney Family and their Songs. Combining archival material from many sources with newly commissioned performances, these recordings will showcase one of the richest repertoires not just in Ulster but in the entire Irish Tradition. Dr Labhrás Ó Murchú, Ardstiúrthóir (National Director) of Comhaltas, will launch the recordings and the event will feature music and songs from the Tunney family and their relations.
