‘The Root of All Evil’: The Irish Boundary Commission

In this talk, based on his recently published book The Root of All Evil: The Irish Boundary Commission, Dr Cormac Moore will tell the story of the Boundary Commission, from its inclusion as part of the 1921 Anglo-Irish Treaty through to its breakdown in late 1925. Dr Moore will analyse the main reasons for collapse of the Boundary Commission and why the consequences of that collapse still resonate today.
