Moyra Donaldson: In Conversation

Moyra Donaldson is one of this island’s most important and acclaimed poets. She has published ten collections of poetry over her long career, including Carnivorous and Bone House, as well as a Selected Poems, and her work has been widely anthologised. The National Women’s Poetry Award, Allingham Award, and Cúirt New Writing Award as well as a Major Individual Artist award from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland are just some of the ways in which her work has been recognised.
To mark the donation of her literary archive to The Linen Hall, we invited her to talk to Damian Smyth on National Poetry Day about her poetry and her life as a poet.
A selection of items from the archive will be on display at the event.
