Our popular Irish Continuation course is back in May 2025. Led by our experienced instructor, Catherine Calumarte, this 8-week programme is tailored for individuals with a foundational understanding of Irish who are eager to further enhance their language proficiency. Specifically designed for those who have completed the beginners’ class here at The Linen Hall or have prior knowledge of Irish, this course offers a perfect opportunity to deepen your language skills. Mark your calendars for every Thursday, starting on 8 May and running until 26 June, from 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm (dates below).

About Catherine Calumarte
Catherine Calumarte is a graduate of Queen’s University Belfast, St Mary’s University and the University of Ulster. She holds a BA (Hons) Irish Language and Literature and a PGCE. She has had a lifelong association with the Irish language and is a committee member of St Patrick’s Branch of the Gaelic League and of Belfast Feis.
