The Linen Hall is delighted to welcome this touring exhibition from Belfast’s contemporary visual art gallery, Golden Thread Gallery (GTG), now our near neighbour in its new location on Queen Street.
In 2024, GTG asked a selection of artists to respond to their past encounters with GTG and to provide a small artwork that could be part of a touring exhibition. This exhibition is a fitting celebration of the new opportunities that are opening up for GTG in its new location as well as a reminder of its past successes and achievements.
Work exhibited in ‘How We Got To…’ at The Linen Hall will eventually enter the GTG permanent collection, a key part of its future growth.
