Corrymeela Puppet Workshop

Yvonne Naylor has been using puppetry as a communication tool for over 40 years in the areas of global, cross community and environmental education. From a teaching background, mostly in special education, she has written and illustrated resources for the Irish school of Ecumenics and the Curriculum Council. At Corrymeela, she applied these skills to address feelings around loss with Treetops and identity and belonging, similarity and difference as the school’s worker for four years.
In this session, Yvonne will share some Puppet Presentations on our relationship with the Earth with brief introductions, and a discussion. Attendees can also view Corrymeela nature notes, housed in the museum and are invited to explore nature locally using some of our earth education resources or nature trail booklets.
This session is limited to 30 participants.
