Belfast: Past, Present and Future – PEACEPLUS Interfaith & Belief Walking Tour

Belfast is changing and its faith landscape is too. New communities and long-established traditions are learning to live alongside each other. Yet this is not the first time that Belfast has been reshaped by belief and belonging. This city centre walking tour (1.5hrs) uncovers stories from our past of unexpected collaboration and hospitality between faiths and beliefs, revealing how a changing city learned to welcome difference — and what that legacy means today. The Belfast Local Community Action Plan, of which this is part, is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.
Friday 8 May: Starting at The Linen Hall Library side door (Fountain Street) at 2pm with discussion afterwards in The Linen Hall. The entire event should conclude at approximately 4.30 pm.
