Intermediate Italian 1: Refining Grammar & Communication

This 11-week course is ideal for learners who already have a solid understanding of the basics and want to deepen their knowledge, speak more naturally, and understand more complex Italian.

There will be no class on Monday 26th October.

This course is the first part of a progressive three-part course that will run until June 2027. If you enjoy Intermediate Italian 1: Refining Grammar & Communication, you’ll have the option to sign up for Intermediate Italian 2: Expressing Ideas More Freely in January-March 2027 and for Intermediate Italian 3: Communicating with Confidence from April to June 2027.

Please note that Intermediate Italian 1: Refining Grammar & Communication will not run again until September 2027.

About Giada Mangiardi

Hailing from the beautiful city of Turin, Giada Mangiardi is a language teacher who has a passion for languages in both the spoken form and the science behind them. After completing her MA degree in Linguistics in 2007 she moved to Co. Limerick and taught Italian in a school. After a year she moved to Belfast where she has been working as a language tutor to all ages in QUB, Belfast Metropolitan College and the Crescent Arts Centre. She has also worked as Language Coach at the Grand Opera House.

Giada has collaborated in the editing of Italian language course books as well as works dealing with minority languages. She looks forward to sharing with you her knowledge and love for Italian in all its aspects, from grammar to food, from music to regional traditions.
