As part of this project, The Linen Hall produced a six-episode podcast series in partnership with Jason Burke, historian and host of the Historical Belfast Podcast. The series explores the civil rights movement in Northern Ireland from the establishment of the state in 1921 to its impact on contemporary society. Drawing from the Library’s extensive archives and enriched by community engagement sessions, these six episodes weave together historical narrative with lived experiences to create a powerful story that resonates across generations.
